Names, addresses and telephone
numbers of the following are required:
Executors/Trustees:
An executor/trustee must be appointed to ensure that your financial
requirements, wishes and desires are carried out as per your will
instructions. This person must be trustworthy.
Most people
will appoint their spouse or partner as first choice and one or two
alternatives. Please obtain permission from your proposed
alternative executors/trustees.
Guardians:
If you have children under the age of
eighteen or are thinking of having them soon, guardians
must
be appointed to look after them in the event of your death. Please
provide at least two guardians and obtain their permission first.
Funeral Wishes:
Most people wish to state in their
Will whether they want to be buried or cremated, although it is not
a requirement of the Will. Please think about what you want and if
you have any specific requirements, for instance, the name and
address of a Church.
Gifts:
Please list any personal gifts you wish to make in your will. For
instance, jewellery, golf clubs, car or specific amounts of money to
relatives, friends or charities. Please ensure that you describe the
gifts so that they can be clearly identified.
Assets:
Please calculate the value of the total assets of you and your
spouse or partner if applicable.
Disaster Scenario:
In the
event of you and, if applicable, your spouse or partner being deceased
and all obvious beneficiaries have predeceased you, please decide on
alternative beneficiaries.
